The one with the sequins...

This weekend has been filled with scrapbooking gifts for colleagues, in preparation for Teacher's Day Celebration next Tuesday...

I wanted to share this with everyone... one of the gifts I made is a mini book... and I was inspired to use sequins after browsing a page from the Scrapbook etc magazine... Aida Haron's work... and Serendipity brads from K&Company! I was delighted to use the tiny gold sequins I got from a bridal decoration shop last month...

They sure highlight some parts of the cover beautifully... I also used Tim Holtz's Lost and Found papers for the cover of the book... I used the red and yellow hues from the papers to help me decide on the embellishments and accents to add.

Hope that brightened up your day some how...
Stay tune... there's another mini album coming up next week for Mini Book Anonymous!!!

Scrap to your heart's desires...
